Information was given by the government that the total number of patients recovering has crossed 42 lakh. According to the WorldMeter website, the number of patients recovering from corona in the US is 41,91,894, while in India this number has increased to 42,05,201.
However, the increasing number of dead is bringing concern on the forehead of the government. On Saturday, the highest number of deaths from corona worldwide took place in India. According to the WorldMeter, 1,221 people died between Friday and Saturday in the country, after which the number of death increased to 85,625.
The total cases of corona infection in the US so far are 69,25,941, out of which 41,91,894 have been cured while 203,171 have died and 25,30,876 cases are active. Currently, America is number one in the case of Corona. On the other hand, India currently has 53,05,475 confirmed cases, out of which 10 lakh 14 thousand 649 cases are active.
It Took Only 11 Days To Cross 40 Lakh To 50 Lakh
Significantly, the cases of Covid-19 in India reached 10 to 20 lakhs in 21 days. After this, in 16 days, it had crossed the figures of 20 to 30 lakhs and in 13 days, 30 to 40 lakhs. At the same time, it took only 11 days to cross the number of 40 lakh to 50 lakh.
According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 6,05,65,728 samples of Covid-19 were tested in the country till September 16, of which 11,36,613 samples were tested on Wednesday.
The Health Ministry has said that more than 70 percent of the people who died due to infection were also suffering from other diseases.
Covid-19 Vaccine May Come Out By First Quarter Of Next Year
Amid rising corona cases and deaths, Union Minister of State for Health Ashwini Choubey said in Lok Sabha on Friday that an effective vaccine may be available by the end of the first quarter of 2021 if clinical trials of the Covid-19 vaccine get successful.
He said in a written reply that no pre-purchase agreement has been signed with any vaccine manufacturer. In response to another question, he said that the vaccines being developed by Bharat Biotech in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) in the first phase of clinical trials and the vaccines being developed by Cadila Healthcare Ltd. have been safe and now their immunity Capacity testing is underway.
He said that Phase 2 of clinical trials of these vaccines is going on. In a written reply to a question by Raghu Ram Krishna Raju, Choubey said that eight meetings have been held with the Chief Ministers of the respective states to review the status of Covid-19.
