The Bollywood actress and Rajya Sabha MP from Samajwadi Party Jaya Bachchan responded strongly in Parliament regarding the drug connection in the film industry. She took on BJP MP from Gorakhpur Ravi Kishan (Ravi Kishan) and Kangana Ranaut in Rajya Sabha. Let us tell you, after the statement of Ravi Kishan in Lok Sabha, Jaya Bachchan made her point on Tuesday (15th September 2020).
Without naming anyone, she further said that some people associated with Bollywood should not pierce the plate that fills their stomach. Many Bollywood Actors & Actresses are also very supportive and have tweeted in favor of her Speech.
Supporting Jaya Bachchan’s Speech, actress Diya Mirza recently tweeted that, “Jaya Ji you are absolutely right. Thank you for talking to our industry. We are always committed to contributing to social well-being and change. The industry has always helped governments. The behavior of our film industry is abusive.”
A lot of people are now commenting on this tweet of Dia Mirza and are giving their Feedbacks.
Jaya Bachchan strongly targeted BJP MP Ravi Kishan’s statement in Rajya Sabha. She said, “Because of some people, you cannot spoil the image of the entire industry. I felt very bad yesterday when a member of the Lok Sabha who himself belongs to the industry, spoke poorly about the film industry.”
However, the BJP MP and Bhojpuri Actor Ravi Kishan had said that the smuggling of drugs and consumption by youth has come as a new challenge in front of our country which is not correct and should not be tolerated. He also said that the people of India think and worship actors as their idols and role models, and if we start doing such negative things then what type of message will reveal among the people.
Ravi Kishan has also spoken on this to one of India’s leading news channel’s Editor-In-Chief Mr. Arnab Goswami, “I am very sad, I always respect Jaya Ji. Jaya Bachchan did the Bhojpuri film ‘Ganga’. I also acted in that film, Amitabh Bachchan was also a great hero of the century. I had a good relationship with him. But I did not think such a reversal would happen. I had said to save my Industry. Drug mafia has entered Bollywood, crores of begetting are taking place. Who are these people? When Jaya Ji came, there was not any drug mafia in the industry. There was not any chemical drug. It was not there when I came in the 90s. How did the drug racket become so big in 10 years? Smoke is where the fire starts.
He further adds that ‘Nobody gave me a plate, nor is anyone my godfather, nor did anyone help me. I got nothing even after everything was trending. Later, he started a closed Bhojpuri industry and gave himself a break. Today there are more than one lakh people employed in the Bhojpuri industry. As much right as Jaya Ji has over the film industry, so is mine.
