Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India- HMSI, a Japan-based automobile manufacturer, is preparing to launch a new premium bike in the Indian market. Honda Motorcycle has recently issued an invitation, which states that a new motorcycle will be launched in India on 30 September. However, the company has not shared the name of this upcoming bike and any other information about it. But the teaser revealed shows that it can be a big capacity bike. This new bike can also be named Honda Rebel 300.
Honda launched its new Honda Hornet 2.0 only last month. The company is preparing to increase its 300 to 500cc segment in India and this new bike can be a premium bike. According to the teaser, ‘Get Ready for the Majestic Launch’ has been given. It will be a completely new bike for the Indian market. However, it may be available for sale in abroad first.
The teaser is being speculated that Honda’s upcoming premium motorcycle may be a cruiser bike. Apart from this, recently the company has updated its 500 cc range with the CB500X, CBR500R, and CB500F. Let us know that some time ago it was revealed that Honda is working on a 300 to 500cc bike to compete with Royal Enfield, which will be introduced soon.
Honda Hornet 2.0
The price of Honda Hornet 2.0 motorcycle starts at Rs 1.26 lakh (ex-showroom, Gurugram). The Hornet 2.0 is equipped with dual, petal disc brakes with single-channel ABS. The first bike in this segment, the Hornet 2.0, also gets the Golden Upside Down (USD) front fork. The bike has a 184cc BSVI PGM-FI HET engine with a new powerful and efficient PGM-Fi system. The engine generates 17.03 hp power and a peak torque of 16.1 Nm. It also has a 5-speed transmission. A piston cooling jet is also provided with the engine.
