The 2020 Skoda Kodiaq TSI Petrol BS6 was scheduled to be launched in India later this year. The car is one of the five new and updated models launched by the brand in 2020. However, the launch of this car has been postponed due to the Coronavirus. According to media reports, Skoda Kodiaq TSI Petrol will now be launched in early 2021.
Actually, responding to a Twitter user, this information has been given by Zac Hallis, Sales and Marketing Director of Skoda Auto India.
The company has been forced to take this decision due to problems with the supply chain. The production of the brand has been affected globally due to the Corona epidemic and the launch of upcoming cars has been delayed.
Being a flagship SUV, the Skoda Kodiaq TDI is a very special model. This SUV is well-liked for its excellent cabin. The design and features of the 2020 Skoda Kodiaq TDI have undergone considerable changes as well as some additional features including an updated touchscreen infotainment system with a virtual cockpit instrument console. The Kodiaq TDI already comes with a panoramic sunroof and intake seater layout that makes this car even better.
The Kodiaq TDI was first launched three years ago in 2017 and was then introduced with the 2.0-liter TDI diesel engine. However, Skoda did not upgrade this engine to BS6 emission norms. Now the BS6 Skoda Kodiaq will be offered with only one engine option, but this time it will be a petrol engine instead of diesel.
Talking about the price, the price of this car can be around 30 to 35 lakh rupees (ex-showroom).
